about the role
One part product strategist, one part researcher, and one part anthropologist, you enjoy studying people, systems, and innovation.
Using a mix of design research and qualitative approaches, the Innovation Strategists specializes in finding new ways to solve problems. As a part of a growing firm, you will be the go-to person for helping our internal teams and clients think outside of the box, reconsider solutions, and challenge assumptions.
Design and plan creative research, including field work, screeners, and exercises
Execute creative research and field work, leading the Rebel & Co. team and clients
Design and facilitate strategy sessions and workshops with Rebel & Co. team and clients
Translate findings to relevant and impactful recommendations to business, product, and operations
Leverage workshop exercises to solve a variety of problems and answer a variety of questions
Inform and guide product and innovation roadmaps for clients
Design and execute product, UX testing, and A/B testing
4+ years of experience working in a product strategy, design researcher, or innovation consultant role
Comfortable working in fast-paced timelines and navigating ambiguity
Trained in qualitative and design research approaches and methodology
Master Facilitator distinction, preferred
Experience designing and planning strategy workshops and design-thinking exercises
Experience designing UX testing and product strategy & creating roadmaps
Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Design, Art, or Communication, preferred.
Remote location compatible
Travel: less than 50% of time, pending client projects
